GOROFF SILENT ON WHY SHE BACKS DEFUNDING POLICE

MEDFORD, NY - It’s been nearly two weeks since radical scientist Nancy Goroff narrowly secured the Democratic nomination to challenge Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), and since that time Goroff has refused to answer calls to explain her support for the Bill de Blasio-style defunding of local law enforcement.  

“It’s been nearly two weeks and radical scientist Nancy Goroff believes she can hide from voters her support for the Bill de Blasio type plans to defund our local police departments,” said Jesse Garcia, Chairman of the Suffolk County GOP. “Our local law enforcement deserves someone in Congress who will defend, not defund them, which is why radical scientist Nancy Goroff and her extreme agenda is completely wrong for Long Island.”

Goroff is hoping voters will forget that she was recently photographed at a protest carrying a sign reading, “COST OF RIOTGEAR for 1 POLICEMAN EQUALS COST OF PPE for 31 NURSES.”
