Assemblyman Anthony Palumbo today received another high-profile endorsement in his campaign for State Senate. Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine is backing Palumbo’s bid to succeed retiring Senator Ken LaValle in the 1st Senate District. In supporting Palumbo, Romaine cited the Assemblyman’s strong record of delivering results and his consistent advocacy for Suffolk County families and business owners.

“I’m honored and thankful to have received the endorsement of Supervisor Romaine in my campaign for state Senate,” Palumbo said. “I’ve been proud to call him a friend and colleague for years, and we’ve been able to successfully collaborate on numerous projects to improve the quality of life and business climate on Long Island. As our next State Senator, I look forward to continuing those efforts and ensuring an even brighter future for local families.”

“This year’s election is an important one for Brookhaven residents and the future of our town,” Romaine said. “We must elect someone who has the experience and a proven track record of advocating and delivering for our communities. In this election, Anthony Palumbo is that candidate.

“As an Assemblyman, he’s put us first. And time and again he’s delivered, whether it’s delivering a fair share of school aid or getting the state to invest in our infrastructure. I know that when it comes to these issues and important issues like our economy and affordability, we can count on Anthony Palumbo to fight and deliver for us. He’ll make a great state Senator and I’m proud to endorse him,” Romaine concluded.
